WELCOME TO MY BLOG where you can travel the world through art, craft, design and fashion with a huge dose of colour thrown in – and not just thanks to my ever-evolving hair!
I started Craft and Travel to showcase traditional and contemporary crafts, art, design and fashion from around the world because I love it. Whenever I go travelling my radar is switched on, drawn to these aspects of a destination: there’s so much to discover when you look around for creativity.
Most of what I see, spot and want to share are the aspects that involve and evoke colour so what you discover here will be colour focussed – and I mean some serious rainbow-hunting, at times you may need sunshades!
I live in London, UK, so you’ll also find a lot of Londoncentric content because when I’m not abroad I love discovering My City as well as other parts of the UK, mostly from weekends away – I go away as much as I can, usually every month.
I hope that over time my blog will become a place of inspiration and education with contributions from crafters, creatives, makers, designers and travellers from every corner of the earth, helping you to make your own globetrotting plans as colourful as they can be.
I also hope you’ll join me on my adventures – if you have any questions or comments on route, please get in touch.
